Join our Get-Togethers

Our Get-Togethers bring people from different communities together to discuss what matters to them in their local area and learn about activities in their community hubs.

Monthly Get-Togethers take place in different localities in Fife, using public spaces as community cafés, halls, warmspaces or even outdoors(in summer!) - any space that hosts community groups and guests. Tell us if you would like to host at your venue. Our aim is to help more people discover local community groups or hubs, bring attention to their services and activities and together, learn about inclusive places across Fife.

We want to help reduce social isolation and make new connections via a range of activities such as arts and crafts, wellbeing workshops, taking part in local consultations, and often just a blether setting the world to rights!

The ME60+ Project:

Our Get-Togethers are a natural evolution of our Minority Ethnic 60+ (ME60+) Project.

Starting during the COVID-19 Pandemic, the ME60+ Project aimed to support people aged 60+ from minority ethnic communities in Fife.

The project was funded as part of the National Lottery Community Fund.

It focused on a combination of 1-2-1 and group support through get-togethers, advice and guidance, food parcels, electronic device delivery and much more.
