We've got lots of exciting updates to share with you all, from our new project announcements to all the latest partners news and consultations, have a read and find out more.
We are always on the lookout for new activities and updates to add to our monthly, if you or your organisation has something coming up that you would like us to share, contact us and let us know.

What have we been up to at FCE?
On Wed 12 Nov 2025, the Fife Inclusion Networks got together to meet with unpaid carers from across Fife to talk about their experiences and challenges.
Our Fife Equalities Forum was in-person on Wed 12 Nov, sharing updates, opportunities to work together and more.
On Fri 28 Nov 2025, we discussed neurodivergence in the workplace with the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership.

Our Let's Chat service hopes to learn more about your views on services across Fife, what is working well about them and what may need extra improvements.

Winter Equality Fair 2025:

Join us for our Winter Equalities Fair 2025 which will take place on Wednesday 10th Dec 2025, 10.30am - 2.30pm at Tesco Dunfermline Fire Station Superstore, Winterthur Lane, Dunfermline, KY12 7BD.
We will have a BSL interpreter available from 10:30 until 12:30 to help with communication.
Our Equalities Fair takes place on Human Rights Day and aims to promote and celebrate the work of our partners who help people in Fife in fairness and respect of their dignity.
This year we will be hosting a free drop-in event where local partners will have information stalls and share free information and advice about the support they provide over the winter period.

Fife Inclusion Network:

Our next Get-Together will be taking place on Wed 10 Dec 2025 from 10:30 to 12:00 at Fire Station Creative, Carnegie Drive, Dunfermline KY12 7AN.
Join us for a chat and a hot cuppa this winter at the Fire Station Creative café, meet new friends and will be a good opportunity find out what Fife Inclusion Network project can help and support people in the wider and diverse communities accessing local services and information.

Fife Equalities Forum:

The next Fife Equalities Forum will be taking place on Wed 10 Dec 2025 from 14:00! This will be an in-person Forum at Fire Station Creative, Carnegie Drive, Dunfermline KY12 7AN.
The Forum is a great opportunity to learn more about the different groups and organisations working in Fife, the barriers they are facing and how we can work together to improve things for everyone.

FCE Companion Support:

The Companion Support Project was created to build a network of volunteers who are passionate about reducing social isolation, connecting people and groups and making Fife a fairer place for all.
Funded by the Fife Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, our Companion Support (CS), volunteers work in a group setting to empower others, and encourage them to make new connections and friendships.
It is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and learn valuable new skills.

Joining our Board:
We are recruiting suitably skilled people to join the Board to help deliver our vision and mission.
If you are passionate about equality, diversity, inclusion, and social justice, then this could be the volunteering role you’ve been looking for.
Applicants should have a passion and commitment to build a collective voice to champion equality, diversity, inclusion and social justice, along with the ability to provide strong governance and direction to ensure the delivery of our objectives.
These Trustee positions are voluntary, however, out-of-pocket expenses will be met.

Our Equality Calendar showcases all of the upcoming equalities awareness days, partners events and local consultations! Check out some of the upcoming international days below:
Human Rights Day - 10 Dec: A day to raise awareness of the struggles faced by individuals and groups across the world, and to empower people to make a difference.
International Migrants Day - 18 Dec: Recognising the huge contributions made by migrants across the world, and a call to action to help address the barriers they face.
International Human Solidarity Day - 20 Dec: A day to celebrate our unity in diversity, the wide range of backgrounds that make up our local communities and a reminder to be kind and understanding of others.
16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence - 25 Nov to 10 Dec: Following on from the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the 16 Days of Activism is a campaign of events, workshops and movements across the world to take action.

Seescape Christmas Coffee Morning:

Celebrate the festive season with Seescape at their Christmas coffee morning.
Enjoy refreshments including warm mince pies, explore craft stalls with handmade gifts, and treat yourself to cakes and sweeties. Try your luck at tombola with exciting prizes and soak up the holiday spirit with live festive music from a local ukulele band.
It’s the perfect way to start December, connect with others, and support Seescape’s vital work providing visual impairment support across Fife.
The coffee morning will be taking place on 05 Dec from 10:30 to 13:00.
Kirkcaldy Foodbank - Donation Christmas Shop:
Kirkcaldy Foodbank have launched a range of donation gifts that can be purchased to support over the festive season.
All profits from the sale of these items and 100% of donations go towards ensuring no-one in the Kirkcaldy area goes hungry.
Fife Climate Hub - Fundraising Training Sessions:

The Fife Community Climate Action Network are hosting a range of fundraising workshops for community groups in Fife, to further their skills and understanding of gaining funding and grants.
There are four sessions, with each session having a different topic:
Session 1 - Fundraising Foundations & Telling Your Story (Jo Taylor Consulting)
Session 2 - Building Your Toolkit: Plans, Budgets & Funders (Jo Taylor Consulting)
Session 3 - Writing Winning Bids & Planning for the Future (Jo Taylor Consulting)
Session 4 - Session 4 – Fundraising for Fife-Based Community Action (Kitty O’Connor)

School Meals Survey:
From Fife Council: "Fife Council’s Catering Team would like to hear your views on food within your child's school.
We want to offer healthy, appealing and well-presented meals for our children and young people. This survey is anonymous, and the information will be used to plan our menus and we will make positive changes based on your responses." For more information, click here.
