The Companion Support Project was created to build a network of volunteers who are passionate about reducing social isolation, connecting people and groups and making Fife a fairer place for all.

Funded by the Fife Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, our Companion Support (CS), volunteers work in a group setting to empower others, and encourage them to make new connections and friendships.

It is a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and learn valuable new skills.

Fife's Communities Matter 2025 Evaluation:

From Fife Council:

Fife's Community Engagement Network is a peer support network of people who deliver community engagement.

We run opportunities for people to learn and share best practice. We are always looking to improve how we do this and to hear about what we're doing that works and that you find valuable.

Have your say on Fife’s open spaces:

Your input in this consultation will help shape the future Fife’s open and green spaces.

It will guide the development of the next Local Development Plan by:

  • Identifying and safeguarding valuable open and green spaces from potential development

  • Providing evidence to improve open and green spaces

  • Highlighting opportunities to strengthen our local green network

Your feedback plays a vital role in making sure every significant open space is considered in the audit. It also helps us gain a full understanding of any areas where local provision may be lacking.

Needing assistance when running a consultation, or finding it difficult to take part? Contact us and help make Fife more accessible at info@centreforequalities.org.uk, calling 01592 645310, text on 07800 005834.
