Fife Health and Social Care – Silver Equality Pathfinders!
On Wednesday 12th August, we were honoured with hosting at New Volunteer House the Equality Pathfinders celebration for the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership.
With support from the leadership team, Lynne Garvey and Roy Lawrence, we were assembled on this morning to hear with heartfelt emotion, the experiences of:
Ewa Golebikowska, Fiona Smit & Monica Logan-McFadden for the Partnership Equality Network (where the work of connecting, collaborating and acting together for inclusion takes place).

Gemma MacDonald, for Neurodiversity in the Workplace (as we call it: the NeuroNatters – spaces to share experiences, reduce isolation, understand how neurodiversity presents and take positive steps towards reasonable adjustments).
The Reverse Mentoring pairs – hearing from Lisa Finlayson & Anca Wilson, Vanessa Salmond & Sade Abiola, Cara Forrester & Avril Sweeney, for the incredibly moving and real experience of personal growth and empathy, covering the experiences of neurodiversity, racism and living with invisible conditions.
Their testimonies, and human experiences are the real ‘gold’ of the pathfinders programme – through telling their story, having the courage to lead and be part of the change within their teams, we know that this will build a stronger and inspire a more inclusive workplace.
We were more than honoured to present 3 Silver Awards for the work done in meeting the equality challenges mentioned above. Truly, from the FCE team - thank you for your amazing courage, honesty and dedication.
Last but not least, we also presented the first ever Equality Pathfinders Leader Award to Louise Radcliffe to recognise all the work that it takes behind the scenes to coordinate and lead on equality action plans. We wish the Fife HSCP all the best as they develop in creating a culture of belonging.
