As part of our Companion Support Project and in a bid to help improve the mental health and wellbeing of everyone in Fife, we’re excited to launch a series of monthly challenges focused on supporting positive mental health and personal wellbeing, all designed to be simple, meaningful, and suitable for everyone to take part in.
These challenges are spread out across the year and each one has a different focus, from kindness and mindfulness to self-care and creativity. The aim is to offer small, achievable actions that help us feel more connected, calm, and uplifted in everyday life, all while helping improve our mental health and wellbeing.
We’re kicking things off in June with our first challenge:
30 Days of Kindness.

As June starts with Volunteers Week, we thought it would be nice to focus on kindness and supporting others. Each day in June, we’re inviting you to do one small act of kindness: a compliment, a helping hand, or simply a kind message. It’s a lovely way to brighten someone’s day (and your own).
From there, we’ll be launching a new challenge every couple of months, each one tailored to the time of year. From spending mindful time outdoors, to daily self-care moments during busy periods, to trying something new in spring, there’s something for everyone.
Keep an eye on our newsletter and social channels for the latest updates. And if you know someone who could use a little lift, feel free to share it with them too.
You can join every challenge or dip in occasionally, take part in whatever way suits you best.
