On Tuesday, 27th Feb 2024 we were delighted to welcome some of our Minority Ethnic 60+ (ME60+) Members, Companion Support volunteers and friends of the project along to our latest Get-Together at St. Bryce Kirk!
The focus of last month’s Get Together was to learn more about everyone’s experiences of the project, as we hope to gather feedback and experiences as part of our renewed bid to the National Lottery Community Fund.
It was fantastic to take a trip down memory lane with some of our members who had been with us since the start of the ME60+ Project as well as some of our newer members, reflecting on some of our initiatives such as the cultural food parcels, Connecting Scotland programme, our Get-Togethers and 1-2-1 support as well!
We had some brilliant discussions exploring the aspects of the project that they found most useful, the new connections that had been made and what direction they would like the project to take in the future.
Keep posted as we plan some exciting new Get-Togethers, if you would like to get involved, please don’t hesitate to contact us at info@centreforequalities.org.uk, call 01592 645310 or text us on 07800 005834.
