General Elections 2024 - Voter ID: What you need to know...

In case you didn't know, across the UK, you will now need to provide a valid form of Photographic ID when voting in UK parliamentary elections. That includes general elections, by-elections and recall petitions.
So, what is classed as Photographic ID? Well, there is a wide range of different options you can use.
General Election 2024 - Accepted forms of Photographic ID:
International Travel
A passport issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory, an EEA state or a Commonwealth country (including an Irish Passport Card)
Driving / Accessible Parking
Driving licence issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, or an EEA state
A Blue Badge.
Public Transport and Travel
Any Scottish National Entitlement Card (SNEC) used for concessionary travel, such as:
60+, disabled and under 22s bus pass.
Older Persons and Disabled Persons Bus Passes issued by UK Government.
60+ London Oyster Photocard funded by Transport for London.
Freedom Pass.
60 and Over Welsh Concessionary Travel Card.
Disabled Person’s Welsh Concessionary Travel Card.
Senior SmartPass issued in Northern Ireland.
Registered Blind SmartPass or Blind Person’s SmartPass issued in Northern Ireland.
War Disablement SmartPass issued in Northern Ireland.
60+ SmartPass issued in Northern Ireland.
Half Fare SmartPass issued in Northern Ireland.
Proof of Age
Identity card bearing the Proof of Age Standards Scheme hologram (a PASS card), for example a Young Scot card.
Other government-issued documents
Biometric immigration document
Ministry of Defence Form 90 (Defence Identity Card)
National identity card issued by an EEA state
Electoral Identity Card issued in Northern Ireland
It is important to note that you can still use out of date photo ID, as long as it displays the same name that you have used to register to vote.
