Our Summer Gathering 2025 - thank you!

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended our Summer Gathering on Wed 16 July 2025!

We started the day with our Beveridge Park Peace Garden design session. It was a great experience listening to all your views on features that you'd like to see in the garden, how we can make it a safe and accessible community space, and ideas on how we can make it a long-lasting and clean space.

After the morning workshop, we walked along to the Peace Garden to have a wee look at the space, discussing community safety, integration and introducing ourselves to each other fully!

A special thank you to the Greener Kirkcaldy team, who had brought along their smoothie bike and other interesting materials for us all to try!

Another special thank you to Bring Together, who hosted a very insightful cultural mediation workshop with attendees at the Peace Garden.

Overall the day was a positive session that has kickstarted our work on developing the Peace Garden further, if you're interested in topics such as interfaith, community integration and cultural mediation, our Common Grounds Network may be for you!
