National Stalking Awareness Week - What's happening in Fife?

In case you didn't know - this week is National Stalking Awareness Week. This week focuses on raising awareness on the different types of stalking, how it impacts victims, the support that is available locally and nationally as well as how you can get involved to help.

The theme for this year is "Join Forces Against Stalking"- examining how multi-agency working can be best used to ensure victims of stalking are supported from their point of disclosure right through until a conviction and beyond.

In Fife, the Fife Violence Against Women Partnership (FVAWP) are hosting and sharing a range of different events and are hoping to get people talking about stalking:

  • Tuesday 23rd April, 10:00am – 1:00pm Suzy Lampugh Trust National Conference 2024 “Join Forces Against Stalking”

  • Wednesday 24th April, 10:00am – 1:00pm FREE Fife Violence Against Women Partnership Stalking Awareness Online Information Session (Teams - Please email fvawp@fife.gov.uk to book your place and receive joining instructions.)

  • Thursday 25th April, 10:30am-1:00pm Orange the World Café: Stalking Awareness In-person at Morrisons supermarket cafe, The Esplanade, Kirkcaldy KY1 1SL (For more information please contact Kirkcaldy Soroptimists via the contact form on their webpage or their Facebook page.)
