Our June Get-Together: Celebrating Refugee Week

We’d like to say thank you to everyone who participated in our June Get-Together on the 17th of June 2025 at Exit Community Centre in Glenrothes, celebrating Refugee Week. 

Our theme for the GT was ‘Share Your Cultural Food’, guests had brought in and shared their cultural food with everyone. We all had a relaxing and great time with cuppa and chat and enjoyed those delicious food. 

We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Simone (New Scots coordinator from FVA) for his time, to run a fun activity on the day.

The activities began by introductions of the whole group, followed by Storytelling: Strangest Thing in Scotland when you arrived in Scotland.  

We all had a fantastic time and are looking forward to our next get-together.  

Our Get-Togethers are a great opportunity to meet others and continue strengthening inclusion across Fife and to find out more about our Fife Inclusion Network project and what our work involves. 

Join us our next Summer Get-Together on Wed 16 July 2025, from 10:00 to 16:00 we’ll be at the Rugby Pavillion in Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy, Balwearie Road, KY2 5LT.   

We will have organisations, groups and individuals from across Fife coming together to learn more about what’s happening in the Fife area, make new connections, chat about community safety, discussion on the “Common Grounds” approach and the exciting redesign of the Beveridge Park Peace Garden as part of the Common Ground Network. 

Our Fife Inclusion network (FIN) team will be there if you’d like to know more about our project or have any questions.
